In the classroom
- Site Controller devices and software
- Global Navigation Satellite System Basics
- Site Calibrations for local coordinates
- Common errors of GNSS users (setup, human error, environment)
- Using Trimble Business Center to convert and export machine and rover files
In the Field
- Setup a job site (Base, Rover, Software)
- Calibrate a site using known control points
- Export calibration and design information for Earthworks & GCS900
- Survey cuts and fills of a design surface
- Topo an area to create an as-built surface
- Save surface as design for volume calculations
- Learn basic COGO functions (creating points/lines, delete, calc. volumes)
